Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Production Planning & Execution:Plan and execute daily knitting production schedules based on orders from Merchandising and Planning departments.Monitor and manage knitting machine utilization, ensuring maximum efficiency and minimum downtime.
∎ Technical Supervision:Oversee machine settings, fabric construction parameters, and troubleshoot knitting issues (e.g., fabric defects, yarn breakage, GSM variation).Guide maintenance teams for preventive and corrective machine maintenance.
∎ Quality Assurance:Ensure all fabrics meet quality standards as per buyer or internal specifications.Conduct in-process checks and collaborate with the QA team to reduce rejections and defects.
∎ Manpower Management:Supervise operators, technicians, and helpers in the knitting section.Ensure proper training and skill development for team members.
∎ Inventory & Resource Management:Monitor yarn consumption and coordinate with the store/yarn procurement team for timely availability.Ensure optimal use of raw materials to reduce wastage.
∎ Documentation & Reporting:Maintain production logs, machine performance reports, and quality records.Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the senior management.
∎ Compliance & Safety:Ensure all safety protocols are followed within the knitting floor.Maintain a clean and hazard-free working environment.
