Education: - Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) in Supply Chain Management
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering.
- Master’s degree / MBA in Supply Chain, International Business, or Operations Management preferred.

- Minimum 7–10 years of progressive experience in Procurement (Local & Import) and Material Planning, preferably in the Board / Construction Material / Manufacturing sector.
- Proven track record of managing vendors, reducing costs, and improving supply chain efficiency.
Responsibilities & Context: Role Objective
To lead and manage all procurement (local and import), material planning, and inventory functions for the Gypsum Board manufacturing unit.
The role ensures uninterrupted material availability, cost efficiency, and timely delivery through effective supplier management, planning accuracy, and coordination across production, logistics, and finance.
Key Responsibilities
Local Purchase:
- Identify, evaluate, and maintain strategic relationships with local suppliers of raw materials, packaging, and consumables.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost efficiency and timely supply.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and proactively follow up to guarantee on-time delivery.
- Maintain an up-to-date supplier database and monitor vendor performance based on quality, cost, and reliability.
- Coordinate with Quality Control and Finance teams for inspection approvals and payment processing.
Import Procurement:
- Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with international suppliers for raw materials, machinery, and other imported items.
- Oversee import documentation, customs clearance, and shipping logistics to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
- Negotiate contracts, Incoterms, pricing, and delivery schedules with overseas vendors to optimize cost and efficiency.
- Monitor import lead times and coordinate with production and warehouse teams to prevent delays.
- Maintain accurate records of import transactions, costs, and supplier performance for reporting and analysis.
Planning & Inventory:
- Prepare monthly and quarterly Material Requirement Plans (MRP) based on production forecasts, sales demand, and inventory levels.
- Monitor inventory levels for raw materials, imported items, work-in-progress, and finished goods to prevent stockouts or overstock.
- Coordinate closely with warehouse and production teams to ensure smooth material flow and production continuity.
- Utilize ERP / SAP systems for procurement, inventory tracking, and data analysis.
- Prepare reports on procurement, inventory, and supplier performance for management review.
