  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial engineering, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role, preferably in the textile industry.
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities & Context:

Process Optimization:

  • Analyze production processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, productivity, and quality.    

  • Develop and implement methods, standards, and procedures to optimize manufacturing processes.

Lean Manufacturing Initiatives: 

  • Lead lean manufacturing initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and other continuous improvement programs.      

  • Drive waste reduction efforts and promote a culture of continuous improvement across all levels of the organization.

Production Planning and Capacity Management:

  • Collaborate with production planning and scheduling teams to optimize production schedules and maximize resource utilization.    

  • Conduct capacity analysis and recommend improvements to meet production targets and customer demands.

Continuous Improvement and Strategic Leadership:       

  • Develop and implement the IE department`s strategic goals, objectives, and initiatives aligned with the company’s overall strategic direction.  

  • Lead and inspire a team of industrial engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Develop and implement strategies and initiatives to drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.

Cost Analysis and Budgeting:

  • Monitor manufacturing costs and analyze cost drivers to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.

  • Prepare budgets and forecasts related to manufacturing operations and capital expenditures.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, procurement, and logistics to drive integrated solutions and resolve operational issues.

  • Champion IE initiatives and projects that support business objectives and contribute to overall organizational success.

Quality Assurance and Control:

  • Work closely with quality assurance teams to implement quality control measures and ensure adherence to product specifications and industry standards.

  • Implement statistical process control (SPC) and other quality management techniques to monitor and improve product quality.

Data Analysis and Decision-Making:

  • Utilize data-driven approaches to analyze performance metrics, identify root causes of inefficiencies, and develop actionable recommendations for improvement.

  • Implement performance tracking systems and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure progress towards improvement goals.
