Job Responsibilities:
∎ Productivity analysis - Analyze the labor productivity of the factory and sewing lines. Estimate line capacity for all new development styles based on garment sketches or samples.
∎ CMT estimation - Provide estimated labor cost (CMT) and productivity to merchandising department.
∎ Data analysis - Do data analysis and look into monthly trends of each KPI (key performance indicator) and keep them at optimum level.
∎ Style simplification and method improvement - after order confirmation the person needs to re-analyze the garment for using better and economical methods to reduce the cost per garment without affecting the actual appearance of the sample.
∎ Operation bulletin - Do operation bulleting regularly. Also release styles of OB, line layout, and thread consumption chart for line(s) to be done based on the schedule plan.
∎ Manpower requirement - Rationalize department-wise manpower requirement based on target strength ratio.
∎ Co-ordinate with the planning department for improving the pre-production activities, allocation of similar styles, capacity plan, line plan, and factory monthly plan based on the history of the line and factory efficiency.
∎ Assist GM, Operation for cutting and finishing plan based on delivery priority.
∎ Make liaise with the Human Resource department for training progress (fresh training and multi-skill training).
∎ Audit factory and lines to ensure the line supervisor follows the operation bulletin and line layouts.
∎ Monitor and Auditing employee's (IE and Jr. IE's) activities in all the units.
∎ Explore new machinery and the latest systems that meet companies' long-term goals and prepare cost-benefit analysis and ROI for the same.
∎ Take initiative on the lean manufacturing process and implement it at the factory for bringing more productivity.
∎ Train and develop core team members to meet the demand of the organization.
