Responsibilities & Context:
1. Conduct method study, time study and operation breakdown for all sewing styles.
2. Followup pre-production activities, process simplification and MMR control in sewing section.
3. Prepare SMV (Standard Minute Value) and manpower requirements.
4. Develop and implement efficient line layouts and line balancing.
5. Monitor sewing line performance, efficiency and productivity.
6. Identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
7. Analyze production data and provide recommendations for efficiency improvement.
8. Coordinate with Production, Planning, Quality and Technical teams to achieve targets.
9. Ensure optimal machine and manpower utilization.
10. Lead capacity planning and production forecasting activities.
11. Train and develop IE team members on best industrial engineering practices.
12. Monitor KPIs and prepare regular performance reports for management.
