Production Efficiency & Process Optimization
Plan, develop, and implement effective methods to improve productivity and reduce wastage.
Conduct time and motion studies, line balancing, and capacity analysis to ensure optimum utilization of manpower and machines.
Identify bottlenecks and introduce corrective measures for smooth workflow.
Operation Bulletins & Target Setting
Prepare detailed Operation Bulletins for cutting, sewing, and finishing sections, setting clear targets for each critical process.
Establish and maintain Standard Minute Value (SMV) for all styles and operations.
Ensure compliance with buyer requirements, quality standards, and lean manufacturing practices.
Monitoring & Bottleneck Management
Monitor production flow through hourly reports from IE staff across the production floor.
Attend to any bottlenecks immediately, ensuring smooth operation from cutting to finishing.
Put particular emphasis on pre-finishing and finishing areas to match daily sewing outputs and achieve final targeted output up to cartooning.
Cost Control & Resource Management
Recommend manpower and machine requirements for new styles to minimize cost and maximize efficiency.
Support management in achieving targeted efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
Capacity Planning & Line Setup
Plan production layouts and line setups for new styles, ensuring smooth style changeover.
Coordinate with production, planning, and merchandising teams to align capacity with shipment deadlines.
Lead pilot runs and ensure readiness for bulk production.
Team Leadership & Training
Supervise and guide IE team members to achieve departmental goals.
Train operators and supervisors on best methods, workplace ergonomics, and efficiency improvement techniques.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of efficiency, productivity, and style performance.
Provide daily, weekly, and monthly IE reports to management.
Present analytical insights to support decision-making for management and buyers.
