Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc in Industrial Engineering or B.Sc in Textile Engineering.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 10 to 14 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
woven Garments
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Should have knowledge on oven garments production, Store, Cutting, Sewing & Finishing.
∎ Improve efficiency, Eliminate waste, and reduce ide time.
∎ Best utilization of man and machine.
∎ Analyze samples in the development stage and ensure the right SMV.
∎ Should have experience in modern IE techniques.
∎ Should be knowledgeable on process optimization.
∎ CM estimation - Providing estimated labor cost (CM) and productivity to merchandising department.
∎ Data analysis - Need to do data analysis and look into monthly trends of each KPI (key performance indicator) and control them after setting a benchmark.
∎ Style simplification and method improvement - after order confirmation, he needs to re-analyze the evaluated garment for better and more economical methods to reduce the labor cost per garment to stay within a safe margin.
∎ Ensure the Operation bulletin and Boom sheet prior to garments production.
∎ Ensure thread consumption.
∎ Manpower requirement - Department wise Manpower requirement rationalization based on target strength ratio
∎ The person would be responsible for coordination with other department heads for the following:
∎ Co-ordination with the planning department for allocation of similar styles, capacity plans, line plans and factory monthly plan based on the history of line and factory efficiency
∎ Co-ordination with planning department for improving the pre- production activities
∎ Coordination with Factory manager for cut plan and finishing plan based on delivery priority.
∎ Co-ordination with Human Resource department for training progress (fresh training and multi-skill training)
∎ Doing research and explore new machinery and latest systems that meets companies long term goal.
∎ Must take initiative on lean manufacturing, learning of lean tools and looking for scope of implementation in the factory.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ At least 10-14 years of work experience in a Woven shirt Factory
∎ Strong communication skills in English both verbal and written
∎ Must have good interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
Salary: Negotiable
