Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Commerce (MCom)
∎ Master's degree in Accounting/Finance/Banking with CA advance level (Qualified Chartered Accountant is preferred).
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 8 year(s)

At least 5 years relevant NGO experience
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Audit Firms /Tax Consultant, Development Agency
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overall responsible to manage, develop and monitor the organizational core financial and management accounting systems.
∎ Manage the statutory financial returns link with income generating process of Bandhu and conduct periodical review of income and expenditure.
∎ Ensure different grants or contracts both as organization and partners are well administered and that program and support teams are fully informed of relevant donor compliance regulations and Bandhu procedures to support on-track, on-time, and on-budget implementation
∎ Coordinate and maintain regular coordination with partner organizations on grant monitoring, using appropriate grant management tools and through facilitation and support of regular and timely Grant Review, Opening, and Closing Meetings
∎ Oversee a comprehensive information management and filing system, ensuring donor contractual documents, reports, and key correspondences are consistently and frequently filed
∎ Maintain a broad and deeper understanding of relevant donor policies, regulations and procedures
∎ Support program staff in grant revisions, modifications, no-cost extensions, or budget realignments
∎ Ensure effective channels of internal and external communications relating to grants are established and respected, confirming senior management and technical leads understand donor communication protocols and provide copies of correspondence for files
∎ Proactively identify compliance risks throughout the portfolio and advise programs, support teams and senior management on necessary actions
∎ Manage all external reporting to ensure timely delivery of high-quality reports which meet donor and Bandhu requirements, coordinating closely with program managers and coordinators
∎ Ensure quality information management related to reporting by overseeing the regular maintenance of grant files, reporting calendars, and updating of internal Bandhu documentation and Grant Unit tools
∎ In concert with the finance team, assist program technical leads and operations staff with understanding the reporting and other compliance requirements on their grants
∎ Recommend, guide, assist line manager in formatting and implementing organizational decisions regarding financial and administrative matters.
∎ Work closely with different project's finance in managing and coordinating organizational requirement in concern project budget.
∎ Manage organizational own fund or different project/activities, core accounts, staff provident fund, gratuity fund, staff welfare fund, staff insurance.
∎ Assist line management in developing budget, expenditure as per work plan for new project proposal.
∎ Coordinate with external audit team to conduct project & organizational audit on time.
∎ Evaluate and monitor internal financial control process, application of grant and accrual accounting principles.
∎ Develop Analyze, Manage and Appraise the investment and fixed asset of the organization.
∎ Compute taxes for the organization and advise management on tax, VAT, government compliance.
∎ Ensure supervision and performance review of line supervisees timely and appropriately.
∎ Assist in preparations for external monitoring visits, reviews, and audits, and cross-site evaluations and participate as appropriate.
∎ Prepare Cashflow statement and variance analysis.
∎ Prepare cost sharing sheet as per project budget.
∎ Prepare periodic consolidated financial report and submit to the management for their review and approval.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Minimum 8 years of professional experience including 5 years in NGOs on grants or program management experience.
∎ Strong written and verbal communication in English and Bangla is required.
∎ Demonstrated understanding of grants management, with proven experience in managing large multi-donor Demonstrated proficiency in donor reporting, with strong writing, editing, and critical analysis skills.
∎ Familiarity in capacity building of staff, especially with regards to program oversight and reporting.
Salary: Tk. 103673 (Monthly)
