Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee the entire lifecycle of grants, from initiating grant kick-off meetings for new projects to facilitating monthly grant review meetings with diverse stakeholder groups, ensuring adherence to donor guidelines and submission deadlines.
∎ Serve as the primary liaison between the organization and donors/affiliates, addressing any inquiries or changes in reporting dates or donor requirements, and maintaining updated report tracking systems.
∎ Participate actively in regular calls and training sessions organized by the Global Grant Management community of practice, sharing insights with colleagues to enhance grant management effectiveness.
∎ Take the lead in conducting Due Diligence of downstream/upstream partners during grant implementation, ensuring compliance and accountability throughout the process.
∎ Identify, address, or escalate any potential compliance issues to senior management as necessary.
∎ Ensure donor compliance throughout project implementation by reviewing Grant agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and memoranda of understanding (MoUs) for compliance, and facilitating the drafting of sub-grant agreements using endorsed templates to meet donor requirements.
∎ Monitor grants and grant spending, conducting further analysis to aid in issue resolution.
∎ Provide regular management information to the SMT/CMT regarding active grants' performance.
∎ Identify issues in active grants, apply problem-solving skills to resolve them, and support the SMT/CMT in developing and implementing action plans based on grant indicators.
∎ Arrange periodic capacity development sessions for colleagues of other teams to raise awareness and promote learning on the grant management system, key compliance aspects, and the BRAC Grant Management System reporting functions.
∎ Maintain grant files following BRAC procedures and act as the superuser to ensure adherence to system guidelines, promoting data quality.
∎ Ensure all active grants are up-to-date, relevant documents are uploaded to the system, and new contracts are entered and completed in subsequent stages.

∎ JOB PURPOSE:
∎ This position will be responsible for providing overall grant management support to BRAC’s Skills Development Programme, along with ensuring the timely execution of donor compliance requirements in consultation with BRAC's Central Grants Management team and other stakeholders. The position will also ensure timely report submissions to donors, as well as providing effective solutions to conflicts/issues that may arise during the grant management process.

∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
