Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), from any reputed university.
∎ Candidates with training on Fire Science and Occupational safety ( Six Months) from Bangladesh fire service and Civil defense will get preference.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 7 to 8 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Fire Protection and Detection System, Fire safety Management
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for implementing fire prevention and firefighting laws relevant to the RMG sector.
∎ Monitor fire and safety systems, including their protection and detection systems.
∎ Inspect building designs to determine fire protection system requirements and potential problems in areas such as water supplies, exit locations, and construction materials.
∎ Prepare and write reports detailing specific fire prevention and protection issues, such as work performed, revised codes or standards, and proposed review schedules.
∎ Guide modification, installation, maintenance, and operation of fire protection systems.
∎ Monitor the maintenance of all firefighting equipment within the establishment, including equipment replacement.
∎ Responsible for implementing administration strategies in line with the business goal.
∎ Monitoring, evaluating, and developing operation budgets relating to administration expenditures within the factory.
∎ Ensuring proper coordination and facilitation of administrative services for the entire SBU.
∎ Follow up all kinds of compliance audits and the implementation progress of CAP/ Report/ Checklist.
∎ Liaise with merchandising, production, Q.A., and all other departments in order to coordinate buyer visits and meetings with governmental bodies.
∎ Responsible for effectively implementing Bangladesh Labour Law, Labor Rules, the Factories Act, and ILO conventions relevant to the RMG sector.
∎ Liaise with the local labor federation, local political leaders, relevant government and non-government organizations, the local police department/RAB, Law enforcement agencies, and NSI/SB.
∎ Introduce, implement, and monitor visitor and dispatch management system.
∎ Develop & Implement SOP and policy for security management, protocol management, and other areas of administration and security as and when required.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Knowledge of the Bangladesh Fire Prevention Act.
∎ Excellent communication in written and spoken English.
∎ Knowledge of MS Office
∎ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
