Education:

Master’s/MBA with Honours/BBA in Finance or Accounting from a government-approved university.

Candidates who are partly qualified CA (CA–CC and at least Certificate/ Knowledge Level completed from a reputed CA firm in Bangladesh) will be given preference.

Skills Required:

Additional Requirements:
  • Age At most 45 years

Strong knowledge of donor compliance, financial reporting, and audit processes.       

Experience working in humanitarian or development projects (Cox’s Bazar experience preferred)       

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.



Responsibilities & Context:

Financial Management & Compliance

·        Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow plans

·        Monitor budget utilization and ensure cost control

·        Maintain accurate accounting records, ledgers, vouchers, and reconciliations

·        Ensure compliance with organizational policies and donor regulations

·        Establish and maintain strong internal control systems

Financial Reporting

·        Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

·        Submit donor, management, and statutory reports within deadlines

·        Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to management

Cash, Bank, Payroll & Taxation

·        Manage cash and bank transactions, including regular bank reconciliations

·        Ensure proper authorization of payments

·        Prepare payroll, manage salary disbursements, and ensure tax and statutory compliance

Procurement, Asset & Grant Management

·        Review financial aspects of procurement processes

·        Maintain asset registers and monitor depreciation

·        Monitor grant budgets and ensure compliance with donor guidelines

·        Support grant proposals and donor financial reporting

Audit, Coordination & Representation

·        Coordinate with internal and external auditors and respond to audit queries

·        Liaise with donors, banks, government authorities, and partners

·        Coordinate with program, HR, procurement, and logistics teams

·        Represent the project (s) in finance-related meetings and reviews
