Job Context:
∎ Required specialized on Jersey & Lingerie & Active wear.
∎ Job Location - Chittagong EPZ
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Analyses new fabric attributes found by product management and design teams during shopping trips and directs buying teams to suitable fabric suppliers. Supports fabric suppliers about development when necessary.
∎ Supports buying and design teams about selecting suitable fabric attributes for newly-designed styles in accordance with these teams' requests.
∎ Evaluates technically / commercially failed product tests brought by using teams and makes a decision about them.
∎ Manages supplier relations and performance management processes, manages capacities of suggested suppliers.
∎ Helps buying teams with pricing and cost management by negotiating prices with fabric suppliers.
∎ Make market research in Bangladesh and close countries, and analyses the sudden price increase or decrease on the fabric and yarn prices. Help the CMB by researching the textile industry in Bangladesh, the structure of the competitors in the market and prepare a general view of the country at the end of the season.
∎ With the agreement of the CMB, make visits to relevant fairs in Bangladesh and close countries to analyses the development in the fabric and accessories, the technology, the threats and the opportunities in the industry.
∎ Make the Fabric Research for Bangladesh; give a quick response to the requests.
∎ Ensure Fabric in-house on time.
∎ Ensure shipments on time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Skills Required: Jersey & Lingerie & Active wear.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):Fabric, Fabric development, Fabric Inspection, Fabric Manufacturing, Fabric Marketing, Fabric Merchandising, Fabric Planning, Fabric Quality, fabric technology, Garments Textile.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):Garments, Textile
∎ Good Technical Knowledge about Fabric & Fabric Quality.
∎ Good command of English & Communication Skill.
∎ Required to have a disciplined approach to process controls.
∎ To have minimum 5-10 years' experience in similar criteria.
∎ Candidate is expected to be very proactive, dynamic and self-motivated.
∎ Good computer skills.
