Job Context:
∎ A reputed 100% export based Knit Composite Garments factory is looking for potential candidate as Manager (Cutting) for its factory.
∎ This position holder will lead the entire Cutting Department and coordinate job activities of all team members of the department.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Managing all the operations in the Cutting Department, attending to all technical and administrative issues, coordinating with other sections (such as fabric inspection, CAD, sewing) and the management, and advising the team to ensure all issues related to the cutting process are resolved efficiently and effectively.
∎ Plan and control day-to-day operations of the cutting floor to ensure achievement of production targets.
∎ Supervising and ensuring that Lay sheet & marker from CAD & fabric from store is received as per daily cut plan.
∎ Responsible to ensure that fabric laying, relaxing, cutting & bundling operation is running as per plan & capacity.
∎ Responsible to ensure that cutting is done based on the line priority & backline /Sub-store requirement.
∎ Ensuring the accurate scheduling of the sectional output and appropriate manpower balancing to cater to production priorities.
∎ The selected candidate will be responsible for leading & coordinating overall activities of all the Cutting Units of the factory.
∎ The ideal candidate has to ensure timely receiving of finished fabrics and cutting of knit fabrics to feed garments sewing lines as per production planning & shipping plan with due consideration of quality.
∎ Candidates who have hands on experience to work as a Cutting AGM & have ability to increase cutting productivity through maintaining effective coordination with related departments/sections are highly encouraged to apply.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Should have practical working knowledge in knit fabrics.
∎ The candidate should have proven leadership skills
∎ Effective communication & coordination skills with related departments
∎ Should have knowledge on software based marker making, CAD uses etc.
∎ Should have knowledge on increasing cutting efficiency & minimizing wastages
Salary: Negotiable
