Job Context:
∎ JOB PURPOSE: The ideal candidate of this position needs to understand the concept of safe internet for children and have knowledge on the available curriculum/content on this. The person will be responsible to ensure contextualization and localization of digital literacy curriculum in Bangla ensuring best possible quality engaging internal and external experts. Based on the curriculum/content the person will design courses for educators and children (which will include audio visual material). The person will coordinate testing of the courses among selected teachers and students. S/he will develop high quality report on the effectiveness of using this course and present in a national level knowledge sharing event.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the program`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Gather knowledge on the available curriculum/content on safe internet for children and relevant activities in Bangladesh and around the world.
∎ Coordinate contextualization and localization of selected digital literacy curriculum in Bangla for teachers and students.
∎ Develop and offer the courses using a remote learning platform for teachers.
∎ Develop audiovisual material and assessment modalities for the remote learning platform ensuring it is understandable for the teacher.
∎ Ensure quality of the material and courses with internal and external vetting.
∎ Uploading the course in selected LMS platform and coordinate with field team to offer the course to selected teachers.
∎ Ensure testing of the content with students with the help of teachers, school management and field team.
∎ Engage external evaluator for baseline and end line survey and report on impact.
∎ Organize inauguration and result sharing event with national level stakeholders.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Ability to comprehend the improvement areas of the assessment system according to field observation and data analysis.
∎ Ability to identify priority activities and assignments, allocation of appropriate amount of time and resources for completing work. Be aware regarding taking result driven initiatives.
∎ Comprehensive knowledge in education perspectives, teaching learning methodologies, theory & practices, pedagogies, child psychology, feedback & motivation, types of assessment, rubrics, assessment tools etc.
∎ Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Bangla.
∎ Ability to ask questions to clarify, and exhibit interest in having two-way communication; demonstrate openness in sharing information and keeping people informed.
∎ Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve organizational goals; ability to solicit inputs by genuinely valuing others' ideas and expertise; willingness to learn from others
∎ Minimum 4 years of experience in relevant field
