Job Context:
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Work closely with the internal and external team to plan, design and develop logical framework and project implementation plan, annual and half yearly progress report for the Programme.
∎ Design and deploy program communication strategy and materials as per need of different components and its different stakeholders.
∎ Prepare different background document, concept note, brief and short proposal according to need of the Programme.
∎ Ensure regular and high quality project communications through writing project updates, preparing narrations, liaising with the donors/ potential donors, responding to development partners and other stakeholders' queries on different components of BEP.
∎ Assist project's different unit in order to communicate with national and international consultants and to arrange necessary meetings, including preparing ToRs, MoU or agreements and other documents.
∎ Explore and generate new ideas, approaches in education sector and ensure proper documentation of innovative intervention (internal and external) for knowledge management.
∎ Handle different external missions while assessing/ appraising/ evaluating different component/ initiative of BRAC Education Programme.
∎ Develop plans and organise events on advocacy to influence policy.
∎ Provide different sort of communication, planning supports as deemed necessary by the programme.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Excellent knowledge on global and national education policies which is very relevant to economic or social development.
∎ Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
∎ Proficiency on Microsoft word, excel and power point.
∎ Excellent command on English and Bangla.
∎ Strong analytical and conceptual skills with strong knowledge on developmental issues.
∎ Strong team building capacity and skills including the ability to cope with the people in diverse multi-cultural environment
