Job Context:
∎ JOB PURPOSE: Capacity Development Unit ( CDU) of SELP works as a support but cross cutting unit to reinforce and facilitate different capacity enhancement activities, such as- on-job/off-job training and learning opportunities for its own staff and training/ orientations for its programme participants.
∎ This position will lead training and learning need assessments of this programme and take initiatives accordingly to up skills and reskills its human resources particularly in social mobilisation component for an effective implementation of programmatic activities.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the safeguarding goals while acting as a key source of support, guidance and expertise for establishing a safe working environment in accordance to its reporting procedures.
∎ Practice, promote, encourage and endorse the safeguarding policy and implementation standards among team members in case of any reportable incident.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Take lead in developing comprehensive capacity building strategy for SELP's core components, set milestones in coordination with other team members and component leaders.
∎ Lead the social mobilisaiton capacity development unit and provide overall supervision to the team members.
∎ Assess training needs of staffs and programme participants of SELP and prepare yearlong "70-20-10 principled" staff capacity development plan. Especially support 'on-job coaching and mentoring' for effective staff capacity development.
∎ In alignment with AoP prepare yearly and monthly HO/ field training plan and ensure smooth implement. Frequent field visits for monitoring and learning purpose.
∎ Prepare/develop training packages (training outline, module, materials & gamification of the learning) as per the programme's needs.
∎ Provide Training of the Trainers (ToT), organise and coordinate training sessions, orientation and workshop for capacity building of programme participants of SELP.
∎ Organise training and workshops engaging internal and external resources as per need.
∎ Support different project's capacity development agenda which includes partner organisations, community volunteers and members of the community-based organisations and stakeholders.
∎ Support preparing yearly training budget
∎ Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of training programme and prepare half yearly/yearly capacity building report.
∎ Maintain proper documentation of training/ capacity building materials, best practices, challenges and learning for future programme development.
∎ Prepare online courses for BRACIPEDIA and other online portals of BRAC as per the need of the programme.
∎ Maintain liaison and communication with BLD, other BRAC programmes and other organisation.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Able to preparing training plan and budgeting
∎ Facilitation skills and Using different training methods and techniques
∎ Have report writing skills and designing training modules and relevant materials.
∎ Skills on organizing training programs and coordinating resource persons and liaison with GO, NGOs, INGOs, Inter and Intra program coordination
∎ Ability to adjust with the diversified environment along with the cooperative attitude
∎ Comprehensive knowledge on contemporary development discourses and activities
∎ Updated knowledge on the nexus of development and training.
∎ Clear concept on modern days training module, tools and techniques, methodologies and material development.
∎ Knowledge on gender equality, GBV, legal protection, gender mainstreaming, women empowerment, rights, social mobilisation etc.
