Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Plan, develop and implement project activities in the specific camp/s under the umbrella of BRAC
∎ To implement and monitor the components of projects, in accordance with the project objectives, activities and targets outlined within current donor proposals and in line with project’s budgets
∎ Supervise and provide technical advice and support to the team for effective implementation of the project activities
∎ Represent BRAC in any relevant thematic meetings with stakeholders and otherwise as needed
∎ To monitor CP activities in the camps and impact of activities and propose adjustments of the project strategy where needed
∎ Establish and maintain effective working relationships and networking with stakeholders and donor agencies
∎ Coach, train and mentor staffs with the aim of strengthening their capacity, exchanging knowledge within the team and providing professional development guidance
∎ Efficient in proper management of resources including financial, human and project assets
∎ Ensure effective contribution in Budget Management and tracking, monitoring programme budget as per JRP Budget/ Plan
∎ Lead to prepare and submission of report to BRAC and Donor
∎ Ensure proper utilization of donor budget and resources
∎ To forecast and follow up on expenditure related to the project
∎ Plan for timely purchase requisition in line with the project deliverables
∎ Planning of activities: Provide weekly and monthly work plan
∎ Contribute to concept note and project proposal writing for fund raising
∎ Ensure inter & intra coordination with different sectors
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
∎ Manager-Child Protection will lead, monitor and evaluate the project specific CP activities which involves effectively manage and report on the specific project in line with the objectives, timeframe and budget. In addition, manage and train staff to meet standards, encourage beneficiary participation, liaison with other stakeholders and contribute to the overall implement and development of CP components.
