7–10 years of proven experience in industrial maintenance management, preferably in the garment accessories industry (metal buttons, zippers, trims) or other manufacturing sectors.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems, maintenance management systems (CMMS), and technical documentation according to ISO standard.
Technical & Functional Skills:
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
Expertise in preventive and predictive maintenance, maintenance planning, spare parts management, and root cause analysis (RCA).
Familiarity with machine safety standards, calibration requirements, and compliance audits.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, ERP systems, and maintenance tracking tools.
Strong understanding of safety protocols, risk assessment, and industry compliance requirements.

Dear Staff Members, MPAL, a leading manufacturer of metal buttons, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee all maintenance activities at our Dhaka plant. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operation of all machinery, equipment, and utilities across the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance for all plant machinery and equipment.
Ensure minimum downtime and maximum operational efficiency through proper maintenance planning.
Develop and implement maintenance strategies to maximize equipment uptime and productivity.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, machine history cards, and spare parts inventory.
Coordinate closely with production, quality, and procurement teams to support uninterrupted operations.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives and conduct regular inspections of machines and facilities.
Ensure adherence to safety standards, 5S principles, and maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment.
Monitor equipment performance and recommend upgrades or replacements as needed.
Manage maintenance budgets, inventory of spare parts, and vendor relationships.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
Train, mentor, and evaluate maintenance staff to build a high-performing team.
