• 3–6 years of hands-on experience as an electrician in an industrial or manufacturing environment (preferably garment accessories, metal, or similar industries).

• Sound knowledge of industrial electrical systems, wiring, control panels and power distribution.

• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and technical manuals.

• Technical & Functional Skills

• Strong knowledge of electrical maintenance, fault detection and repair of machinery.

• Experience with 3P motors, control panels, PLC basics, sensors, inverters, generators and sub-station.

• Familiarity with preventive and breakdown maintenance practices.

• Understanding of electrical safety standards, lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and compliance requirements.

• Basic computer skills for maintenance records and reporting are an advantage.

MPAL is a manufacturer of metal buttons, and we are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to support the safe, smooth and efficient operation of all electrical systems and machinery at our Dhaka plant. The Electrician will be responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electrical equipment and utilities across the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems, machinery and utilities.

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults to minimize machine downtime.

• Ensure proper functioning of motors, panels, lighting systems and power supply.

• Maintain electrical maintenance logs, records and checklists.

• Support installation, modification and upgrading of electrical equipment.

• Coordinate with maintenance and production teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards, 5S principles and a hazard-free working environment.
