- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Die Casting and/or Power Press operations (preferably in a senior role).
- Strong knowledge of die casting process (Zinc), power press machines, dies, tools, and sheet metal stamping operations.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering/technical drawings and use measurement tools (Vernier caliper, micrometer, gauges).
- Skilled in machine setup, parameter adjustments, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with safety practices, PPE requirements, and machine guarding.
- Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and leadership skills.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities & Context: We are looking for experienced Machine Operators (Die Casting & Hydraulic Power Press) who will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining machines to produce quality products. The role requires strong technical expertise, a commitment to safety, and the ability to guide junior operators while ensuring production targets and quality standards are achieved.
Operate and monitor Die Casting and Hydraulic Power Press machines as per production requirements.
- Set up machines, molds, dies, and auxiliary equipment for production runs.
- Adjust machine parameters (temperature, pressure, cycle time, die settings, tool changes, etc.) to maintain product quality.
- Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with dimensional accuracy and visual quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance, lubrication, cleaning, and troubleshooting of machines.
- Maintain accurate records of production, quality, and machine logs.
- Report equipment malfunctions or quality issues to supervisors promptly.
- Ensure proper handling, safety, and cleanliness of machines, tools, and the work area.
- Train, guide, and support junior operators on correct machine use and safety practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in productivity, efficiency, and quality.
