Responsibilities & Context: Job Summary: Nusaiba Construction & Technology is seeking a highly organized and proactive Logistics & Procurement Officer to manage the full cycle of procurement and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will ensure timely sourcing, purchasing, and delivery of materials, equipment, and services needed for construction and tech-based projects. This role requires negotiation skills, vendor management expertise, and a strong understanding of supply chain and transport systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and evaluate suppliers/vendors for construction and IT materials
- Obtain quotations, negotiate prices, and issue purchase orders (POs)
- Ensure compliance with company standards, budget, and quality requirements
- Track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery
- Maintain a supplier database and evaluate vendor performance
- Ensure compliance with local procurement laws and regulations
- Collaborate with the finance team for payment processing and budget reporting
- Keep proper documentation of all procurement activities
- Manage transportation and delivery of goods to project sites and warehouses
- Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, and site managers for delivery scheduling
- Track inbound and outbound shipments; maintain updated delivery status
- Monitor inventory levels and restocking needs
- Supervise unloading, inspection, and storage of materials
- Handle logistics documentation (delivery notes, gate passes, transport bills, etc.)
- Ensure cost-effective and safe logistics operations
- Identify and resolve issues related to delayed shipments or damaged goods
