∎ Candidate should have knowledge on fabric types and consumption;
∎ Candidate should have knowledge on fabric types and consumption;
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Receive and inspect incoming fabric materials, ensuring quantity and quality match with requirement of purchase orders.
∎ Maintain accurate inventory & records using ERP or inventory management software.
∎ Organize and store fabrics in a systematic and accessible manner; like racking & using palates.
∎ Maintain separation of warehousing for job wise, order wise, color wise, type wise, organic, non-organic.
∎ Monitor fabric consumption and stock levels and update reports.
∎ Issue materials based on production requirements and implementation of LIFO-FIFO method.
∎ Prepare and maintain documentation such as goods receipt notes, stock registers, and issue slips.
∎ Conduct periodic physical stock audits and reconcile with system records.
∎ Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and identification of different types of fabrics.
∎ Maintain cleanliness and order in the fabric store area.
∎ Follow safety and handling guidelines for different types of fabrics.
∎ Collaborate with quality control to address any issues related to defective or damaged materials.
