  • Establish, examine, and carry out the section`s working procedures (SOP, Flow Chart, Quality Policy).

  • Construct departmental objectives and targets, such as reducing efficiency rate, reducing DHU rate, reducing final inspection rate, and setting other departmental goals and targets together on a monthly and annual basis.

  • The department`s goals and aims should be communicated to all staff members in a clear and concise manner through frequent meetings, notifications, and training.

  • Achieve departmental objectives and targets on a daily, monthly, and annual basis by taking action and keeping records to support the collective adoption and implementation of successful strategies.

  • The reason for the failure should be looked into, effective remedial action should be done right away, and records should be kept in the event that departmental objectives and targets are not met on a daily, monthly, or annual basis.       

  • Collect departmental cutting production plan and new order booking sheet and make the master cutting plan as on shipment schedule. Inform in team in advance about the daily, weekly, and monthly production plan and shipment schedule.        

  • Maintain pre-cutting procedures (such as fabric relaxing, GSM, trial cutting, shrinkage testing, fit testing, and shade separation) to ensure correct and timely production.       

  • Monitor plan wise fabrics receiving in coordination with Planning, Warehouse, QA, Fabrics departments to ensure in time fabrics receiving with QC passed.       

  • Examine the fabric amount in sequence by using a CAD marker to determine the marker ratio. Speak with the relevant department as soon as possible if issues with overconsumption occur.        

  • Join the PP Meeting to assess the product, make notes for implementation, and distribute the meeting notes with departmental and pertinent staff members to facilitate mass production.       

  • Take steps to establish the size, check the markers, modify the pattern, dummy, and trial cut. Obtain QC permission before beginning the trial cutting and sample. Prior to mass production, take note of trail cutting discoveries and address them.       

  • Arrange daily production meeting in the department to share daily production plan and take action against difficulties to achieve the plan·        

  • Carry out the steps of fabric relaxation, lay, cutting, numbering, and bundling while matching batches, fusing, heat sealing, and input for sewing.

  • Oversee the Kan-Ban system and supermarket to ensure appropriate responsibility and timely sewing input.

  • Ensure print & embroidery send-receive in coordination with planning and print-embroidery units.

  • Appropriate use of workforce reduction, responsibility assignment, direction, and motivation through ongoing supervision to carry out tasks as expected.       

  • Ensure that the cutting section`s machinery, equipment, and raw materials are used, working, and that any maintenance or repair needs are met.

  •  Monitor MMR and working hour to be in declared limit.       

  • Compile reports and paperwork on fabric receipt, cutting activities, production reports, print-embroidery records, and so forth. 

  • Identify scope of improvement in technical problems, production process and quality issues, find solutions and take necessary measures to increase cutting efficiency and reduce CPM (Cost per minutes).

  • Implement and enforce best practices for fabric handling, cutting, storage, and material utilization to minimize losses and maximize profitability.  

  • Assist the HR department in coordinating employee growth, training, incentive, counseling, and assessment. 

  • Observing the company`s policies and procedures and making sure the departments are complying.
