Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelors or Masters in Marketing/ Social Science/ Social Work or any other relevant subject from any recognized university/ institute.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 1 to 3 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ The Job Placement Officer will be based in the PRDS office, Visit to regularly various garments industries in Dhaka Division or another Division.
∎ Job Location: Dhaka (Mirpur-12, Block-D)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Job Placement Officer is required to provide career counseling to the candidates.
∎ Job Placement Officer needs to look for job opportunities for candidates.
∎ Job Placement Officer needs to review candidates' resume in order to know about their educational qualification work experience and other skills.
∎ Job Placement Officer is required to conduct candidates' interview to know about their ability and efficiency.
∎ Job Placement Officer is required to understand the candidates' interest and requirement before seeking a job for him.
∎ Job Placement Officer needs to help the candidates in writing resume.
∎ Job Placement Officer is required to prepare the candidates for interviews.
∎ Job Placement Officer is required to look for new job opportunities for his clients.
∎ Job Placement Officer may suggest vocational courses to the candidates for better job prospects.
∎ Job Placement Officer needs to keep in touch with clients from different organizations in order to stay updated with the new job vacancies that come up.
∎ Job Placement Officer may provide tips on succeeding in the interview.
∎ Job Placement Officer may also provide suggestions on how to maintain a good position and grow further within the organization.
∎ She/he will be engaged to provide labor market matching services or employment services for the trainees.
∎ She/he to manage labor market matching services.
∎ Vocational counseling, guidance and job placement services will ensure in matching the supply of skilled labor with the demand for skilled workforce in light engineering sector.
∎ He employment support services will ensure the following
∎ Preparing database of the industries where trainees can be employed
∎ Developing dynamic linkages with the employers
∎ Disseminating training outcomes or skill levels of trainees to the employers when training is complete iv) Organizing job fair and ensuring participation of members of association to the job fairs iv) Identifying job vacancies in industry and preparing trainees for interviews
∎ Keeping contacts with the trainees those who are employed and collecting information on skills needs that are not acquired by trainees during training in order to review and update curricula and standards for the successive cycles of training
∎ Preparing documents that show wage/remuneration before and after training to indicate value addition of training;
∎ Assisting for proper tracking system during implementation of training.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 39 years
∎ 1-3 years' experience in similar position.
∎ Must have basic computer skill, Ms Word, Ms Excel, E mail etc.
∎ Excellent proficiency in spoken, written & read in English and Bangla.
∎ Energetic, Smart and leadership ability. Honest & sincere
∎ Well groomed, team worker, courteous and friendly with an outgoing 'Genuine Care' attitude.
∎ Positive professional attitude & self-motivated.
∎ Positive approach and Decision making ability.
∎ Ability in work under pressure.
∎ Demonstrated competency to work independently with minimum supervision
∎ Have effective acquaintance with people management, data entry management
∎ Good understanding and command in labor law and compliance issues
∎ Willingness to live and work in difficult and rapidly changing conditions
∎ Having Experiences in Driving Motor Cycle
∎ Ability and willingness to travel and stay in the field
∎ Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse organization.
Salary: Negotiable
