Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science/ Engineering/ Information Technology or related fields from any reputed university with no Third Division/Class

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overall management and development of IT Security Strategy
∎ Assess System Security and recommend improvements
∎ Responsible for IT security incident response, investigation, reporting and forensics
∎ Follow up the internal, external audit and subsequent compliance.
∎ Identifying vulnerabilities in the current network.
∎ Developing and implementing a comprehensive plan to secure our computing network.
∎ Monitoring network usage to ensure compliance with security policies.
∎ Keeping up to date with developments in IT security standards and threats.
∎ Performing penetration tests to find any flaws.
∎ Collaborating with management and the IT department to improve security.
∎ Documenting any security breaches and assessing their damage.
∎ Educating colleagues about security software and best practices for information security.
∎ Responsible for providing IT Security input into IT strategy and subsequent projects to implement strategy
∎ Ensure data is handled, transferred or processed according to legal and company guidelines.
∎ Manage all aspects of the day to day operations of the IT Security team.
∎ Stay up-to-date on information technology trends and security standards, making necessary recommendations.
∎ Help colleagues and the wider business understand information security management
∎ Participate in IT Security audits both representing the group as the audited party and performing IT Security Audits of other business units and 3rd parties.
∎ Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years of experience in similar job preferably in a bank or financial institutions
∎ Professional Certification on CISA/CEH/CHFI/ECSA/CCNP are preferred.
∎ Experience in risk, compliance and information security policy development.
∎ Knowledge and understanding of industry information security, governance, risk and compliance practices and standards.
∎ Knowledge of laws and regulations including Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act (HIPAA), Gramm-Leach-Bliley (GLB) Act and Sarbanes-Oxley.
∎ Experience of developing educational/training programs on security awareness is required.
∎ Excellent organizational and communication skills (both oral and written).
∎ Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community.
∎ Experience managing budget and managing a team of information technology professionals.
∎ Proven problem solver with ability to provide in-depth analysis of complex problems, manage risk and provide timely and accurate decisions.
∎ Sufficient skills to operate Microsoft Office Applications/ banking software
