Additional Requirements: Qualifications & Experience:
- 2–4 years of experience in ERP administration or IT support (preferably in FMCG or manufacturing industry).
- Hands-on experience with ERP platforms (e.g., Odoo, SAP, Oracle, Prism ERP, or Tally).
- Strong understanding of databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MySQL).
- Knowledge of networking, system security, and data backup procedures.
Preferred:
- Experience in Odoo ERP (Python/PostgreSQL-based system) is a strong advantage.
- Understanding of FMCG business processes such as production, inventory control, and sales distribution.
Responsibilities & Context: Job Summary:
The IT Officer (ERP) is responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the company’s ERP system to ensure smooth and efficient business operations across departments. The role involves system administration, user support, data integrity, troubleshooting, and coordination with vendors or ERP developers. The IT Officer also contributes to digital process improvements within the FMCG manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
ERP System Management
- Administer and monitor the company’s ERP system (e.g., Odoo, SAP, Tally ERP, or Prism ERP).
- Manage user accounts, roles, and access permissions.
- Ensure system uptime, data accuracy, and security of all ERP modules.
- Oversee integration between ERP modules (Finance, Production, Sales, Inventory, HR, etc.).
User Support & Training
- Provide day-to-day technical support and troubleshooting for ERP users.
- Conduct user training and prepare ERP manuals or SOPs for employees.
- Coordinate with vendors or developers to resolve software issues or implement updates.
Data & Reporting
- Ensure accurate data entry, backup, and synchronization across all departments.
- Generate and analyze ERP - based reports to support management decisions.
- Monitor data flow between departments such as production, warehouse, sales, and accounts.
System Development & Enhancement
- Assist in customization and module development to meet business requirements.
- Test and validate new features or system changes before deployment.
- Participate in ERP implementation or migration projects.
IT Infrastructure Support
- Maintain computer networks, servers, and user systems related to ERP access.
- Ensure network connectivity and data security within the ERP environment.
- Support backup systems, antivirus management, and IT asset inventory.
