Job Description of Information Service Provider (ISP)
Working Condition: This is the Camp/Bhasanchar/Upazila- based position. The incumbent must be capable to work in difficult situation and flexible working areas. Willing to undertake 90% of time in the field and 10% of time of in office. Under the direct supervision of Community Engagement Officer, the incumbent will perform the following duties and responsibilities.
Job Summary:
ISP is the front-line staff position of Community Engagement project. Key responsibility of the position includes mobilizing, mentoring and managing Rohingya/Bhasanchar/Host Outreach Workers as well as organizing or supporting implementation of project activities at Camp/Bhasanchar/Host level.
Key responsibilities (but not limited to):
Assist respective CEO to organize all types Meeting, sessions, Coordination and liaison with CiC, ACiC, UNOs and PIOs at Camp/Bhasanchar/Upazila authority.
Prepare monthly field visit plan and set regular field visit.
Different information collection and dissemination to Supervisor.
Rapport builds up to the target Camp/Bhasanchar/Upazila level community.
To maintain referral mechanism as per need.
To established effective communication with sector focal, and like-minded Organizations.
Receive all project related ToTs(if any) on Project implementation and cascade down the Outreach Workers as project design.
Make plan to build the OWs capacity and monitor the Outreach Worker activities as well as conduct supportive supervision regularly.
Prepare monthly Work plan and progress report and documented on due time.
To maintain Different register as per project needs like logbook, Loop register, Attendance register, Movement register, information/dash board, etc.
To prepare daily, weekly, monthly report and special report submission on time.
Regular Follow up Referral cases and report to respective CEO.
Assist CEO for report preparation (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly & yearly)
Prepare Different case study/success story as per project need.
Knowledge and build capacity on positive parenting, peer education, U-report, PSEA, Child safeguard, AAP, IPC, Facilitation skill, Feedback Mechanism, Community Engagement Quality Standards, DRR, Emergency Preparedness, Cyclone preparedness etc.
Major role to manage and Establish effective function of respective IFC
Provide and ensure the accurate information to service seekers
Form Adolescent, Father, Mother and religious leader groups and continuation as per project design.
Session conduction to Father and religious leader groups
Support CEO to organize IPT show and RL session as per project need.
Supervise and monitor OWs activities regularly
Support producers to develop audio (PSA) program
Attending different meeting activities like Community Consultation meeting, Advocacy meeting, Adolescent, Father, Mother, Religious, existing groups and Camp/NGO coordination meeting in respective working area.
Make a good relationship with the Agencies and local Govt. Authority
ISP should be able to using mobile data collection tools like ONA, KoBo etc.
If any project task should be done as per supervisor instruction.
Perform any task by the management.
Planning:
Ensure every project staff’s monthly work plan, Monthly, quarterly and special field visit reporting.
Reporting and Documentation
Assist to prepare monthly, quarterly and annual Narrative reports, Special report and collect and write-up case study as per project needs
