Experience:
Masters in any discipline. Candidates having B.Ed./M.Ed. will be given priority.
At least 3 year(s) in the education field particularly Adolescence and Youth development program. Experience of working with Rohingya community Adolescent and Young people will count as an additional experience.
Minimum of three years of working experience on education project implementation in NGOs or other Development Organizations.
Minimum of two years' experience in technical support to education program staff.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bangla and English.
Knowledge of local language will be an asset.
Basic computer skills on MS-Office, MS-Excel, Power Point.
Having a valid motorcycle license will be an asset.
Ability to work under pressure and dual/multi-management.
Humanitarian working experience in education will be preferred.
Jagorani Chakra Foundation (JCF) is a national voluntary social welfare organization. JCF is implementing Steps to a Bright Tomorrow: Education for Adolescents and Youth in Cox’s Bazar project (JPF- 8) project and also going to implement Education and Human Resource Development for Displaced Youth project in Cox’s Bazar supported by Plan International Bangladesh. To ensure the quality implementation of the project, JCF intends to recruit project staff from qualified candidates of Bangladeshi nationals.
Job Responsibilities:
Participate in designing and implementation of Adolescent and Youth Education program (i.e. learners’ selection, teachers training needs, learners', Learning Center Management, Parent/Community involvement in education, etc.).
Conduct Host community mentor and facilitators training in collaboration with Technical Specialist and provide technical capacity building of Host community volunteers and Facilitators Teachers and Program Organizers.
Conduct Status of Education Report (ASER) Plus assessment.
Support in designing and implementation of Adolescent and Youth led innovation activities in the camp.
Regular communication with Camp-in- Charge (CiC), Site Management (SMS) offices, ALCMC members and other actors for the successful operation of project activities.
Assist the Technical Specialist in organizing and delivering training and workshops.
Assess teachers' performance through observation, class visit, spot check and review of the lesson plan.
Attend all workshops and training and support in organizing training for host community Schools Teachers and Schools Management Committee (SMC) members.
Support the development of M&E tools and systems to measure and analyze learning outcomes.
Support in creating and reviewing tests and assessment tools.
Providing daily statistical report through KOBO toolbox.
Follow the organization's Child Safeguarding, Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA), Gender, Money laundering, Whistle Blowing and other Policies.
Consolidated Tk. 70,139 per month and other admissible benefits as per organizational policy as well as the project.
