Responsibilities & Context:

DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Overall Accountability

· Uphold a professional attitude at all times while fostering open and transparent communication.

· Collaborate and coordinate effectively with team members to ensure the best outcomes for victims.

· Build and maintain networks with law enforcement agencies, NGOs, shelter homes, and other relevant stakeholders to provide comprehensive support during case investigations.

· Manage assigned cases diligently, ensuring systematic follow-up through regular field visits to victims/survivors, their families, and places of residence or work.

· Ensure adherence to established protocols and procedures of the Case Investigation Support(CIS) Unit.

· Maintain consistent, open communication with team members, the Country team and the Line Manager to support the smooth functioning of the Case Investigation Support Unit and the organization as a whole.

· Ensure personal and team compliance with JC policies at all times.

· Undertake any additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the Line Manager.

· Maintain confidentiality of privileged and sensitive information

· Strictly comply with safeguarding policies and procedures.

Program

· Demonstrate a thorough understanding of casework procedures, as well as relevant victim protection and custody laws and regulations.

· Provide comprehensive support in all aspects of victim rescue operations, including trafficker profiling and case registration etc.

· Conduct home investigations for cross-border victims and follow-up with local police.

· Foster and maintain strong professional relationships within the Case Investigation Support (CIS) Unit and across other disciplines of Justice and Care.

· Build a respectful and supportive rapport with victims of Human Trafficking while maintaining professional boundaries.

· Maintain and regularly update the investigation database and spreadsheets, ensuring accurate data management and timely report generation.

· Conduct proactive inquiry of Human Trafficking cases.

Documentation:

· Reports of follow up with victim / victim’s family regarding investigation.

· Ensure that detailed and timely reports are maintained for all CIS unit activities and meetings-, follow up reports, HIR, relevant documents for each case, Trafficker’s profiling, Proactive Inquiry Reports and assist in other monthly reports and

maintaining documents
