Ensuring the quality of all the SRH services given and the maintenance of the CEmONC facilities by maintaining clinical standards throughout all the SRH service-providing facilities
Assist the Project Manager in the implementation of project activities
Strengthen, support and capacitate the staff in government-supported facilities
Provide oversight and guidance for all projects and tasks, ensuring that they are adequately staffed, planned, and performance is within scope, time, and available budget.
Ensure capacity building of the team members, special focus on client care issues, community engagement, and SRH technical services.
The SRHR Coordinator will help to promote Sexual and Reproductive Health programming (SRH) and SRH services in the emergency response programme
He/She will also facilitate the procurement and delivery of emergency medical supplies and equipment and provide capacity building to relevant stakeholders on SRH-related issues (including reproductive, maternal and newborn health, family planning information and services, STIs and HIV prevention, care and treatment, and care for survivors of violence).
Oversees project implementation, establishing collaborative partnerships with executing agencies, experts, government counterparts, and other UN agencies to facilitate the timely and efficient delivery of project inputs and address the training needs of project personnel.
Manages team dynamics; ensures synergy and harmony with the team. Provides role clarity to all staff within the team by providing supportive supervision and ensuring accountability.
Ensures creation and documentation of knowledge about current and emerging reproductive health and rights issues by the programme team through the analysis of program projects, strategies, approaches and ongoing experience for lessons learned, best practices
Activities:
Support the PM’s efforts to maintain a positive organizational climate with the highest professional and ethical standards
Support the Project Manager in collaborating with camp level govt. functionary, Ministry of Health, DGHS, Civil surgeon, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer, physicians, nurses, and other hospital professional staff to establish standards for running a medical/health facility and ensure operational support for smooth implementation of health interventions.
Oversee all technical, financial, and contractual, and performance requirements to bring about the successful completion of the project
Work with the Project Manager in people management, development goals, efficiency, and quality improvement, financial management, financial planning, Health services development, compliance, public relations, and internal communications
Proactively work with various project managers to address risks and issues to ensure project success.
Provides a positive response when team members report problems
Promote a spirit of collegiality and gender diversity amongst team members and in the organization
Set goals and conduct appraisals for the team; Set high standards and confront poor performance where needed
Take appropriate actions to manage poor performance (such as creating Performance Improvement Plans, coaching, job rotations, and planning separations) in order to build and develop an engaged and high-performing team.
Lead project/support staff teams independently throughout efforts.
Implement, monitor and coordinate/supervise program planning, evaluation, and quality assurance
Create a work plan (allocation of locations and duties) for the implementation of the intervention project;
Monitor and ensure quality in health interventions at the field level
Monitor the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programmer's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Any other task as and when required by the Project Manager
Skill and Competencies:
Educational Requirements:
MBBS with valid BMDC registration and Masters of Public Health from any recognized University
Experience Requirements:
Minimum experience of 4 years with NGOs, UN agency or international development organization and out of at least 2 years' experience in the SRH project or Programme.
Additional Requirements:
Current national and global development trends related to women empowerment, gender and justice, legal aid, rights-based approach, access to information; SDGs
Sound knowledge and understanding of project cycle management, results-based management and rights-based approach.
