Responsibilities & Context:
Responsible for:
Administer anesthesia to patients before procedures in a maternity hospital.
Evaluating patients’ vital signs, medical histories, allergies, current medication use, and other risk factors
Working with a medical team to design a patient’s treatment plan
Monitoring vital signs of the patient during surgery and adjusting anesthetics as needed
Maintaining detailed notes on patient treatment, dosing and vital signs
Continuing care after surgery to control the level of pain relief and consciousness
Communicating continuing care instructions to specialists and nurses
Activities:
Liaising with other doctors, healthcare professionals and management staff regularly.
Responsible for leading a medical team in any emergency
Responsible for establishing effective communication, cooperation and collaboration with the outreach component (satellite clinics, medical assistants, nurse, midwives)
Highly responsible for teambuilding & nurturing the team effort.
As a part of the team, work should be done in coordination with colleagues to ensure high-quality support for the projects and excellence within the organization.
Any work set within the reason and means by the authority of the organization.
Skill and Competencies:
Education and relevant experience:
MBBS degree from a recognized Medical College.
BMDC Registration certificate.
2 years’ Diploma in Anesthesiology from a Government-approved institute with a valid certification.
4 to 5 years of relevant experience
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent computer skills.
Excellent in English language skills.
Highly committed & motivated to work in remote places.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Strong motivation to work in a hard-to-reach area in a resource-constrained setting.
