Responsibilities & Context:
∎ IMO will be the key resource person for documentation and maintaining up-to-date information in camp context
∎ Produce high quality daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports both for BRAC’s internal reporting using BRAC’s reporting processes and formats and for external reporting using formats provided by UNHCR
∎ Develop, maintain, and update service mapping, camp profiles, and conduct rapid assessments as required
∎ Participate in coordination meetings and any other meetings, take notes, and produce high quality meeting minutes review and dissemination by Camp Managers & IMS
∎ Design and implement a comprehensive monitoring and evaluation (M&E) system with indicators, tools, and methods for data collection and analysis
∎ Track and evaluate project progress using tools such as the Service Monitoring, Camp Monitoring Tool, Facility Mapping, MHIRT, VMT & any other technical platforms or information management products introduced by BRAC & UNHCR
∎ Lead data validation processes for volunteer numbers, cash for work information, CLI schemes, DMI and other relevant areas
∎ Manage & update user-friendly MIS, RF and Activity Info databases to enhance data accessibility and accuracy
∎ Lead data collection processes, including surveys, needs assessments, service gap analyses, and other relevant exercises
∎ Develop and maintain an efficient information management system, addressing gaps in data collection, entry, storage, and analysis
∎ Conduct block visits, participate in community discussions, and contribute to service monitoring and reporting processes
∎ Guide & train volunteers for data collection on VMT, service mapping and any other volunteer management initiatives
∎ Engage with government officials, partners, and UN agencies to share knowledge and improve collaboration
∎ Facilitate effective communication between camp managers, service providers, and the community to ensure efficient stakeholder communication and enhance service delivery and avoid duplication in humanitarian service provision
∎ Contribute to the development of knowledge management products, including case stories, guidance materials, and data analyses to ensure best practices and lessons learned are captured and shared for donor and stakeholder use
