Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
∎ Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Supply Chain Management will be preferred.
∎ Professional Certification on Supply Chain Management will be an advantage.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 4 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Build a strong partnership with internal customers through regular and consistent professional communication, problem solving, and relationship building. Promote collaboration, coordination, and teamwork across organizational boundaries.
∎ Able to handle Customs, C & F, Freight Forwarding, Shipping, Banking & Export-Import duty & VAT-TAX issues.
∎ Have sound knowledge in Banking System/FOC/Commercial Item and H.S. Code(s) for imported goods and customs clearance formalities thereof.
∎ Ensure all logistics activities related to import & export, International Correspondence.
∎ Practical knowledge of import (Shipping, freight forwarding, Chittagong Customs, Dhaka Customs, Bond) and exports.
∎ Follow up with Shipping Line Custom Clearance & Freight Forwarding for smooth operation.
∎ Maintain Export-Import L/C and Export-Import.
∎ Should be well conversant and capable of corresponding/ negotiating with supplier & Agent.
∎ Should have close relation with NBR, Tariff commission and all govt. offices related to job responsibilities.
∎ Should have knowledge of pre-costing and budgeting in favor of business.
∎ Formulate procurement policies and review of the same to ensure the best opportunity for cost effectiveness of the organization.
∎ Finalize the purchase order and ensure timely delivery of goods of local and imported materials and all other scheduled items.
∎ Handle Shipping line and transport-related concern authorities for smooth and timely delivery of goods and execution of import procedures.
∎ Liaison with Factory related to Customs VAT adjustment of raw materials.
∎ Experienced in ERP system operation for the group import raw materials.
∎ Maintain & update all SCM reports to concerns Department.
