  • 2-3 years’ experience as HR Officer along with Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Human Resource Management also considerable.

  • Proven experience 1-3 years as a HR Officer or similar role, preferably in the context of development organization.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to work collaboratively within a diverse team.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Proficiency in HRIS tools and MS Office applications.



Responsibilities & Context:

Reportable to: Head of HRD

Job location: This position is based Pulse Bangladesh Society Head Office, Cox’s Bazar.

Position Overview: The HR Officer will support the Human Resources Department in executing core HR functions at Pulse Bangladesh Society. The individual will assist in recruitment, onboarding, payroll preparation, HRIS operations, documentation, and employee relations. This role requires attention to detail, a service-oriented mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively to ensure efficient HR operations and compliance with organizational policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and coordinating interviews.

  • Support in new employee orientations and facilitate the onboarding process.

  • HR Documentation:

  • Support in maintaining and updating employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System),

  • Assist in preparing and managing HR documentation, such as contracts, offer letters, NOC, Salary

  • Certificate, Experience Letter etc:

  • Ensure personnel files are completed and updated on time.

  • Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.

  • Support staff in resolving queries and concerns related to organizational rules and regulations.

  • Payroll:

  • Support in preparing the monthly salary sheet.

  • Assist in collecting monthly timesheets from projects.

  • Support in collecting information from the staff regarding payroll.

  • HR Operations and Initiatives:

  • Participate in HR Operations and initiatives aimed at improving HR processes and employee engagement.

  • Support the implementation of HR strategies and initiatives.

  • Reporting and HR Analytics:

  • Prepare and submit HR reports (recruitment, turnover, training, leave) by the 10th of each month.

  • Safeguarding and PSEA:

  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding and PSEA implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment. Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding and PSEA policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
