• Age 38 to 46 years

12 years of relevant experience in denim washing/garment quality, including managerial or supervisory experience.

Strong practical knowledge of denim washing, garment finishing, and wash-effect development.

Good knowledge of AQL, garment inspection, measurement, shade evaluation, and quality-management systems.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and team-management skills.

Job Purpose

Responsible for managing and controlling denim wash quality from development through bulk production, ensuring garments meet approved standards, customer requirements, quality specifications, and delivery targets.

Key Responsibilities

Manage overall quality control of denim washing processes, including wash development, production, finishing, and final inspection.

Review and approve wash standards, shade, hand feel, appearance, measurements, and garment construction after washing.

Monitor washing processes such as enzyme, bleach, stone, acid, tint, softener, PP spray, ozone, laser, and other special effects.

Ensure bulk production is consistent with approved wash samples, standards, and customer requirements.

Identify quality problems, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Coordinate with Washing, Production, Merchandising, Technical, R&D, and Garment Quality teams.

Conduct pre-production and bulk-production quality meetings and communicate critical quality requirements to relevant teams.

Develop and maintain wash quality standards, inspection procedures, check sheets, and quality reports.

Monitor wash shrinkage, color fastness, shade variation, abrasion, stains, marks, back staining, chemical effects, and other wash-related defects.

Control rewash, repair, rejection, and alteration rates and take action to reduce quality losses.

Ensure proper calibration and use of quality-testing and measurement equipment.

Train and guide quality inspectors and washing personnel on denim wash quality standards.

Conduct regular process audits and final quality audits.

Investigate customer complaints and support corrective actions for quality issues.

Ensure compliance with customer standards, factory quality systems, and applicable safety/environmental requirements.

Prepare and present quality performance reports, including defect rates, rejection rates, rewash rates, and improvement actions.
