Responsibilities & Context:
  • Follow up independently on orders from development through shipment, ensuring the highest level of accuracy and timely execution.

  • Prepare and maintain Time & Action (T&A) plans and closely monitor sampling, production, and quality processes.

  • Attend buyer meetings as scheduled to ensure garments are produced according to buyer requirements and orders are shipped on time.

  • Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure all trims and accessories are sourced and in-house on time.

  • Communicate with buyers and obtain all required approvals for fabrics, trims, embellishments, samples, and other production-related items.

  • Prepare BOM sheets, KD sheets, and budgets in the ERP system in accordance with company policies and management guidelines.

  • Follow up on yarn, knitting, dyeing, printing, embroidery, sampling, and bulk production to ensure the required quality and on-time shipment.

  • Work closely with Buying QA to ensure the highest quality of the final product, taking responsibility for quality control from the initial development stage through final production.

  • Release production files with all required and accurate documentation, including PO, BOM, TP, PP comments, and other relevant documents.

  • Conduct Pre-Production (PP) meetings and ensure that all required fabrics, trims, and accessories are in-house before production starts.

  • Maintain sound knowledge of knit products, fabrics, accessories, trims, and other garment-related materials.

  • Take over all merchandising requirements immediately after order placement and ensure a smooth handover to PKCL Production/Operations for execution.

  • Calculate and execute raw material requirements for product sampling and development.

  • Obtain PP sample approval from the buyer before starting bulk production, ensuring correct styling, sizing, measurements, color, weight, workmanship, and other specifications.

  • Ensure smooth and effective communication with customers, suppliers, production teams, and other relevant stakeholders.

  • Develop samples according to buyer requirements and specifications for both existing and new buyers.

  • Develop accessory and packaging layouts and ensure quality compliance with suppliers according to buyer instructions.

  • Maintain accurate sample and development logs customer-wise, style-wise, article-wise, and size-wise, including all relevant details and status updates.
