  • Experience with Primark, George or other international buyers will be an additional advantage
  • Strong practical knowledge of Target USA quality standards, specifications and quality requirements.
  • Proven experience handling Target USA garment programs from development through shipment.
  • Good understanding of Target quality manuals, inspection requirements, AQL standards and defect classification.
  • Experience in managing Target quality audits, inspections and buyer quality requirements.
  • Ability to analyze Target inspection reports, quality failures and buyer comments and implement effective CAPA.
  • Strong knowledge of Target-specific product quality expectations, workmanship, measurements, appearance and finishing standards.
  • Experience in handling buyer complaints, quality escalations and critical quality issues related to Target.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with Production, Merchandising, Technical and Buyer teams to ensure Target requirements are fully understood and implemented.
  • Must be capable of independently leading the factory quality team for Target USA business and maintaining consistent quality performance.


Responsibilities & Context:
  • Lead the overall Quality Assurance & Quality Control system from cutting to finishing and shipment.
  • Ensure products consistently meet buyer specifications, quality standards and AQL requirements.
  • Handle buyer-specific quality requirements, manuals, procedures and compliance standards.
  • Coordinate and prepare the factory for buyer audits, quality audits and inspections.
  • Analyze quality performance, identify major defects and drive effective root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Monitor DHU, First Pass Yield, RFT, rejection, alteration and defect trends and implement improvement plans.
  • Establish strong quality controls at cutting, sewing, finishing, packing and final inspection stages.
  • Ensure proper implementation of inline, end-line and final inspection systems.
  • Lead quality meetings with Production, IE, Merchandising and other departments.
  • Develop and implement CAPA (Corrective & Preventive Action) for recurring quality issues.
  • Train and develop QC teams and ensure effective quality manpower deployment.
  • Take ownership of buyer complaints, quality issues and corrective action follow-up.
  • Ensure factory compliance with buyer quality standards and company quality policies.
  • Drive a strong Right First Time / Zero Defect culture throughout the factory.
