Requirements

  • 8–12+ years of relevant experience in Apparel QA/QC, preferably within a reputed buying house or sourcing organization.
  • Strong experience in woven, knit, denim and/or outerwear products will be an advantage.
  • Proven experience working with international and renowned brands/buyers is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of international buyer quality standards and inspection procedures.
  • Excellent knowledge of garment construction, workmanship, measurements, fabric and finishing quality.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple factories, products and quality teams simultaneously.


Responsibilities & Context:

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and highly capable QC Manager to strengthen our Quality team function.

Candidates who are currently working with or have previously worked with renowned international brands/buyers will be highly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the overall QA/QC function across assigned products and factories.
  • Ensure products meet buyer requirements, approved samples, specifications, workmanship and quality standards.
  • Monitor quality performance from pre-production through final inspection and shipment.
  • Coordinate with merchandising, sourcing, production and factory teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Conduct and monitor PPM, inline, mid-line and preperation for final inspections.
  • Analyze quality problems and implement effective root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with buyer-specific quality manuals, inspection standards and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain effective quality control systems, SOPs and reporting mechanisms.
  • Guide, coach and evaluate QA/QC team members and ensure effective inspection coverage.
  • Communicate professionally with international buyers and internal management regarding quality issues and improvement plans.
  • Ensure timely escalation and resolution of critical quality issues.
