Job Context:

∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation.
∎ Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment. Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ As the Head of Strategic Partnerships, you will lead the strategic partnership unit with a team of talented professionals and be responsible for managing the current strategic partnership arrangement (SPA) of BRAC with the Australian and Canadian governments for 2021-25.
∎
∎ Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, identifying potential strategic partners and steering the formation of new strategic partnerships, driving fundraising efforts linked to key strategic areas for BRAC, and contributing to the implementation of the OneBRAC Resource Mobilisation and Partnerships Strategy.
∎ This role demands close collaboration with relevant programmes and departments to ensure quality assurance of strategic partnership formation and management. You will have the opportunity to work with globally renowned humanitarian and development experts and represent BRAC nationally and globally.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Strong communications-oral and written, ideally Bengali and English
∎ Problem solving and analytical skills
∎ Ability to learn new technologies easily (e.g. slack, google drive, trello, etc.)
∎ Knowledge of log frame and M&E framework development; strong quantitative skills
∎ Knowledge of different fundraising models and global fundraising landscape for development sector
∎ Comfortable working across a number of sectors, developing new domain knowledge
∎ Interest in organisational development
∎ Curious, constantly learning; adaptive
∎ Ability to work across cultures, with external stakeholders, international colleagues, etc.
∎ EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
∎ To be considered for this position, you should have a minimum of 8 years' experience in the international development or related field in a lead role. Preference will be given to people with experience in strategy development, partnership management, fundraising, and programme management.
