∎ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
∎ Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality assurance within the garment industry, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
∎ Skills:
∎ Strong knowledge of international quality standards.
∎ Practical experience handling a host of reputed clients/brands around the world.
∎ Excellent communication and leadership skills.
∎ Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
∎ Ability to train and mentor team members.
∎ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
∎ Proven track record in managing quality assurance in a garment manufacturing setting.
∎ Other Requirement: Must be an expatriate/ foreign national, well experienced in the field.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and Implement QMS: Create and manage a Quality Management System that adheres to international standards and client specifications.
∎ Training: Provide comprehensive training to the quality assurance team to ensure strict adherence to quality protocols.
∎ Quality Control: Monitor all stages of production to identify any issues and implement solutions to enhance product quality.
∎ Client Standards: Ensure that all products meet client quality standards and specifications.
∎ Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve quality assurance processes to enhance efficiency and product quality.
∎ Documentation: Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, issues, and corrective actions.
∎ Reporting: Generate detailed quality reports for management review and client communication.
∎ Audit: Conduct regular internal audits and facilitate external audits to ensure compliance with standards.
