∎ At most 20 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of a manufacturing establishment or the operations or production department of a manufacturing establishment.
∎ Develop and implement plans to efficiently use materials, labor and equipment to meet production targets.
∎ Plan and manage the establishment of departmental budget.
∎ Develop production schedules and maintain an inventory of raw materials and finished products.
∎ Plan and implement changes to machinery and equipment, production systems and methods of work.
∎ Direct quality control inspection system and develop production reporting procedures.
∎ Develop equipment maintenance schedules and recommend the replacement of machines.
∎ Hire, supervise and train or oversee training of employees in the use of new equipment or production techniques.
∎ Work with the Industrial Engineering team to plan and ensure optimum utilization of all production resources and space, including stores space and inventory.
∎ Plan for tools/ materials/ equipment`s required for carrying out the production as per plan and provide the same to the Purchase team for procurement.
∎ Plan for shutdown maintenance in consultation with the Engineering team.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure achievement of production target as per production plan and standards with optimum utilization of resources and good coordination and teamwork across all the functions and areas.
∎ Continuously monitor various production parameters like quantity and quality of material, machine utilization, uptime, etc. to proactively address likely issues.
∎ Coordinate with engineering departments for resolution of any technical problem such as breakdown of machinery/ equipment, leakage etc.
∎ Work with the Technology team to address issues and enhance/maintain the yield and make improvements in the process to get better efficiency
∎ Monitor inventory levels at the plant to ensure no disruption in the production process
∎ Maintain overall organization responsibility for performing all duties in compliance with related manufacturing legal/statutory regulations, professional duties, responsibilities and obligations and insert as applicable e.g. Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Best Practice Guidelines, ISO certification.
∎ Ensure all material requisition is raised in a timely manner & identify and take necessary actions for continuous improvement in production process.
∎ Participating in technical discussion related to product design/development discussion with customers.
∎ Ensuring that complaints raised by OEM's and Customer service team are addressed on time.
∎ Ensure reduction in in-process rejections and internal rework so as to attain efficient operations and cost reduction,
∎ Liaison with the Quality team and Technology to address chronic issues.
∎ Continuously work towards improving internal quality so as to reduce customer PPM and achieve high ratings on customer satisfaction index.
∎ Reviewing production schedules, engineering specification, orders and related information to obtained knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures and activities.
∎ Work towards ensuring cost savings in variable costs through innovative ideas and optimum usage of raw materials, tools and consumables & work with the Engineering team to attain energy savings in the Production process.
∎ Establish quality and reliability standards by studying industry benchmarks and the requirements of customers and research/design and development, and define the metrics required to assess performance against standards required.
∎ Monitor and review production expenditure to ensure compliance to the budget & ensure ERP is updated regularly and accurately by the team
∎ Report on Quality activities on a regular basis to the Senior Management team, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of the relevant Key Performance Indicators.
∎ Drive and develop Environmental, Health and Safety processes and procedures within the organisation implementing a behavioural approach to safety and a zero-tolerance culture.
∎ Responsibly use resources and control expenses to meet budgetary controls.
∎ Adhere to all organization policies and procedures.
∎ Tracking Production KPI by maintaining data synchronization with Related Departments.

∎ Strong experience in new product development and in handling the entire product life cycle.
∎ Aptitude for process management and customer/supplier relationship management
∎ Leadership with ability to motivate and manage in a manufacturing environment
∎ Proven ability to coach and develop others
∎ High degree of integrity and honesty in all dealings
∎ Excellent analytical, interpersonal, organisational and communication skills
∎ Ability to work under pressure
