Education: Requirements: Skills Required: Additional Requirements: - Minimum 3–5 years Experience in GPQ/Quality roles for European buyers (preferably KappAhl/ICA).
- Strong knowledge of Buyer quality standards, measurement methods, AQL, nightwear classification, and testing protocols.
- Strong ability to identify defects and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Sound knowledge on fabric behavior, shrinkage, GSM, color fastness, and quality control tools.
- Good communication skills in English (both written & verbal).
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain buyer communication professionally.
- Computer literacy: Excel, Email communication, report writing.
- Professional attitude and strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good analytical skills and problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to support buyer QC during factory visits and inspections
Responsibilities & Context: Buyer Standards & Compliance
- Ensure all products meet Buyer quality requirements, safety standards, and technical guidelines.
- Follow Buyer’s classification, testing requirements, AQL standards, and packaging guidelines accurately.
- Review and validate Buyer tech packs, M-lists, size specs, and workmanship guidelines.
Production Quality Monitoring
- Conduct inline, pre-final, and final inspections according to Buyer protocol.
- Ensure sewing, finishing, measurements, accessories, and workmanship meet buyer-approved standards.
- Monitor production lines to prevent defects and ensure stable quality.
- Perform risk assessments before starting bulk production.
Lab Test & Material Approval
- Ensure fabric, trims, print, embroidery, accessories meet Buyer standard.
- Coordinate required lab tests (color fastness, chemical compliance, safety tests, nightwear standard etc.).
- Verify all test reports before shipment.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare daily quality reports, inline reports, PP meeting notes, and final inspection summaries.
- Maintain Buyer-required documentation in proper format.
- Communicate with merchandising and production teams to solve quality issues quickly.
Supplier/Factory Coordination
- Work closely with sewing, finishing, cutting, and pattern teams to maintain consistent quality.
- Train operators and line supervisors on buyer-specific requirements.
- Ensure corrective actions (CAP) are implemented timely.
Self-Inspection & Shipment Approval
- Conduct Pre-Production Meeting (PPM), Self Inspection and verify sample approvals before bulk start.
- Ensure goods are ready for buyer QC inspection.
- Ensure shipment quality is maintained until final packing.
