Job Context:
∎ We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager-Merchandising to oversee our H&M Buyer Oven Items division. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the overall merchandising operations and ensuring the timely delivery of products to our clients.
∎ The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the Bangladeshi RMG context, particularly in the production and merchandising of oven items. Additionally, they will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage and oversee the overall merchandising operations for the H&M Buyer Oven Items division.
∎ Ensure timely delivery of products to clients and monitor production schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
∎ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, sourcing, and quality control, to ensure efficient operations.
∎ Work closely with the design team to ensure that product designs meet the client's specifications.
∎ Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
∎ Monitor market trends and competition to identify new opportunities for growth.
∎ Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.
∎ Provide guidance and leadership to the merchandising team.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 50 years
∎ At least 10 years of experience with a focus on oven items
∎ Strong leadership and communication skills
∎ Experience managing cross-functional teams
∎ Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
∎ Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
∎ Fluent in English and Bangla
