Job Context:
∎ We are a leading Bangladeshi Garment & Textiles Manufacturing group of companies with a mission to produce quality products and provide excellent services to our clients.
∎ We are seeking a highly experienced General Manager-Operations for our Accessories Factory at Ashulia, Dhaka. The ideal candidate will oversee the factory`s day-to-day operations, including production, quality control, inventory management, and logistics. The candidate must have a strong background in the accessories manufacturing industry, and be able to work effectively with a diverse team of employees, suppliers, and customers.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Oversee and manage all aspects of factory operations, including production, quality control, inventory management, and logistics.
∎ Develop and implement strategic plans to increase production efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.
∎ Ensure that all manufacturing processes are in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
∎ Coordinate with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished products.
∎ Develop and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of products.
∎ Develop and implement training programs for employees to ensure that they are up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
∎ Monitor and analyze production and financial data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to senior management.
∎ Manage a team of supervisors, operators, and other personnel to ensure that production targets are met on time and within budget.
∎ Ensure that all employees are working in a safe and healthy environment and that all safety and health regulations are being followed.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Minimum of 10 years of experience in the accessories manufacturing industry, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
∎ Proven track record of success in managing factory operations and delivering results.
∎ Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, customers, and suppliers.
∎ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make recommendations to senior management.
∎ Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to manufacturing.
∎ Fluency in English and Bengali.
