Experience:

• 12 to 15 years

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering / IE / Apparel Manufacturing from a reputed university.

• 12 to 15 years

• Minimum 7 years of proven experience in a leadership role such as Production Head / GM in a sweater manufacturing factory.

• Work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Applicant should be well capable do deal with foreign customers.

Job Context:

We are a 100% export-oriented sweater manufacturer seeking an experienced General Manager – Production to lead factory operations, ensure quality, boost productivity and meet shipment targets with strong technical and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage various production documents (buyer-wise, style-wise & order-wise) in an organized manner.

• Take full operational responsibility for assigned production processes.

• Ensure overall factory efficiency.

• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective measures to maintain smooth production.

• Find out Garments SMV and consumption.

• Possess in-depth knowledge of knitting, linking, finishing, printing, embroidery and other yarn-related processes.

• Design and implement modern, scientific machine layouts for efficient workflow and space utilization.

• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials to maximize productivity.

• Actively participate in buyer audits and ensure compliance with all regulatory and buyer requirements.

• Collaborate with Admin, HR, and Compliance departments to address and resolve compliance-related issues.

• Maintain strong understanding of sweater quality standards and guide team members in taking necessary corrective actions to ensure export-quality product.

• Very strong knowledge on regarding yarns, accessories and other materials both locally & internationally.

• Monitor production lines and factory operations regularly to ensure on-time shipments.

• Provide daily updates and reports to the Managing Director and other concerned stakeholders proactively.

• Should have proper knowledge in post-shipment analysis and ensure timely reporting and documentation on a regular basis.
