Job Responsibilities:
∎ Management of Factory: Manage the entire factory operations and ensure that factory is running profitably.
∎ Coordination with marketing and merchandising team: Meets with marketing team for future orders, present order status, and product costing and to discuss capacity status of the factory/s. Takes decision to accept any order or not when there is less margin.
∎ Approvals from Buyers: Handles production issues and when required he can directly contact to buyer for approval of variations.
∎ Planning of production units: Reviews Production planning, Material planning and machinery planning.
∎ Style allocation to units: Based on available capacity, product categories, allocates styles in different units/ floors.
∎ Technical setting of the garment: For the reduction of manufacturing cost and ensure production friendly samples, brings in necessary changes in the technical setting of the garment where required.
∎ Involvement in pp meetings: Attends pre-production meeting and ensures that important points are discussed at meeting.
∎ Production monitoring: Does follow up day to day production from each line and ensures that production units meet the production target.
∎ Factory work study/industrial engineering: Follows up industrial engineering functions and systems.
∎ Quality of the finished product: Ensures that factory produces quality product with minimum alteration and repair cost. Also ensures that only quality goods are shipped to the buyers.
∎ Shipment planning and shipments: Plans shipment dispatch with required documentation and shipping department.
∎ Costing of production floor: Checks manpower costing of each floor and try to keep manpower cost under control.
∎ Cost cutting of production processes: Considering cost cutting as the prime goal, should look into all possible ways where production cost could be minimized and goes for it.
∎ Employee Training: Motivates employees and make effort to enrich their knowledge, as and when required.
∎ Buyer Compliance: Makes sure that the factories under his jurisdiction are fully compliant as per buyers' COC requirement.
∎ Recruitment: Involves himself in hiring people to ensure that only right candidate is employed in the company.
∎ Inter departmental issues: Ensures smooth flow of information and material from one department to another. Remains responsible for resolving inter-departmental issues if there is any.

∎ Age 36 to 50 years
