∎ Age at most 50 years
∎ Minimum 5 years of experience as a "General Manager (Knit based Production/Factory)
∎ Knowledge in IE will be given preference.
∎ Excellent communication skills
∎ Should have knowledge in Apparel Manufacturing Industry.
∎ Should have excellent leadership, interpersonal and relationship management skills.
∎ Experience to I.E, SCM, TQM, etc., will be an added advantage
∎ Should have good knowledge of Compliance, Labor Law and Rules & Wages Gazette for RMG sector.
∎ Should have knowledge in Social, Compliance & Technical Audit.
∎ Should be well-behaved, honest and able to work timely.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Responsible for efficiency, productivity, quality aspect of the floor cut to pack.
∎ Responsible for monitoring & controlling overall the IE-related activities of 100% export-oriented Knit garments.
∎ Responsible for picking production from downlines to meet daily/monthly target.
∎ To ensure coordination amongst various areas of production, technical, quality, etc.
∎ Follow up production plan from cut to ship based on machine, manpower, M/c layout to achieve optimum productivity.
∎ To provide manufacturing expertise to the Production team and ensure implementation of cost reduction/efficiency improvement through process changes/improvements
∎ To ensure timely preparation of production plans in line with the available capacity and marketing requirements.
∎ Train people to build skills and develop teams.
∎ Study the worker's efficiency and identify their strengths & weaknesses to enhance their skills.
∎ To ensure regular monitoring of the performance of all departments.
∎ Ensure proper utilization of manpower and good employee relations.
∎ To provide performance review and information to the higher management on regular basis by ensuring the proper and timely generation of all management information reports.
∎ Closely monitor sewing and finishing getting the best possible output and giving direction on the floor.
∎ Setup the sewing line, check consumption, costing and inventory.
∎ Giving feedback to garments buyer and Buyer qc.
∎ Achieve maximum production by lowest cost.
