Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline
∎ Diploma/ Graduate/ Post graduate of technical Institute on garment construction or pattern making.
∎ Skills Required: English as well as computer literacy
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Accurate Sample Development, CAD, Cad Pattern Master, Fabric consumption, Fashion Designing, Making pattern, Production
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments, Textile
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Work with pattern graders to size pre-production garments and advising cutters and machinists on making up samples.
∎ Analyze risk factors during Pattern/consumption, making to secure fit & bulk production.
∎ Make sure the consumption is ok for bulk production considering supplier facilities.
∎ Strengthen cooperation with Quality Control / Technician team and Merchandiser team to secure best garments for bulk production, considering shade/shrinkage management.
∎ Provide technical support/guidance to suppliers during the sampling process, from technical sketch to final approval for seal sample.
∎ Handle sample evaluation and sample approval by reviewing construction, measurements, patterns, workmanship, fitting (dummy and life model), fit sample, and size set.
∎ Communicate with customers and vendors during the sampling process to achieve the best possible quality and fitting and give solutions for fitting problems.
∎ Check and approve sample garments and make any changes needed, including correcting faults.
∎ Evaluate the quality of materials and checking of the final product.
∎ Make sure garments are delivered on time and in good condition and ensuring customer satisfaction.
∎ Support & advice suppliers to find out the best solution to reducing fabric wastage to achieve maximum fabric uses.
∎ Risk assess products in terms of safety and analyze test reports.
∎ Work with designers to make sure the design suits production methods.
∎ Ensure to maintain and update all info in ERP.
∎ Execute other duties assigned by the management from time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Good computer skills in MS Word and Excel
∎ Experience with fitting on dummies and models.
∎ Vast knowledge of Circular Knit/Woven regarding construction, Workmanship, measurements, and fitting. Preferable in combination with sweater/flat knit knowledge.
∎ Evaluate and approve Pre-production samples
∎ Generate fit comment report in PDM / PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) system
∎ Lingerie knowledge will be an added advantage
∎ Pattern & consumption making experience.
Salary: Negotiable
