Experience:

• At least 2 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Banks

• 4-years graduation preferably in Finance, Banking, Economics, Marketing or related discipline from a reputed university with no third class/division or equivalent CGPA in the academic record. Having Postgraduate degree will be considered an added advantage.

• Any relevant Professional Qualifications will be considered an added advantage.

• Minimum 2 years of banking experience in export & import/ LC operations/ trade finance operations.

• In-depth knowledge in international trade finance rules and practices, strong analytical skills and Customer service experience.

• Age not exceeding 45 years as of September 30, 2025. The age limit may be relaxed based on relevant experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day operations of Import, Export, and Remittance transactions in compliance with Bangladesh Bank guidelines, ICC rules (UCP 600, URC 522, ISP98, URDG 758), and the Bank’s internal policies.

• Prepare, verify, and process LCs, Bills for Collection, PAD, LTR, EDF, UPAS, Local/Foreign Bill Discounting, and Remittance documents.

• Scrutinize trade documents for accuracy, regulatory compliance, and risk exposure.

• Maintain close liaison with clients, correspondents, and regulatory bodies for smooth execution of trade services.

• Support clients with trade finance solutions, including pre-shipment and post-shipment financing.

• Ensure timely settlement of import/export bills and accurate reporting to Bangladesh Bank.

• Monitor client limits, exposures, and ensure proper documentation.

• Prepare reports, MIS, and statements related to foreign trade operations for management and regulatory submission.

• Assist in resolving discrepancies and disputes in trade transactions.
