- Must have work experience with buyers like (MAX, Matalan, Next, Walmart, Sainsbury’s, DICKIES, Khol’s, Disney etc)
- Candidate Should able to analysis work hour, Man-Machine Ratio Capacity, Allocate the work within the capacity to meet the working hour target daily in production floor.
Responsibilities & Context:
We are a 100% export-oriented renowned Denim Woven Top and Bottom & Jacket Garments Manufacturer, looking for a dynamic, energetic and proactive candidate for the Finishing Manager post.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensuring finishing completion target for a given older style with desired quality.
- Monitoring the finishing process in order to meet on-time shipment.
- Must be aware of section’s capacity for different products in different processes. (ironing, visual checking, garment alteration, folding, packing)
- Maintaining inventory for consumables in this finishing section and required accessories for packing and other activities.
- Taking care of worker’s health and safety who are working in the finishing section and maintain floor discipline.
- Any other assignments at the discretion of Management.
- Manage all aspects of the finishing process, including final assembly, inspection, quality control, and packaging.
- Develop and implement efficient finishing procedures to optimize production flow and ensure timely delivery.
- Lead a team of finishing personnel, providing them with training, and coaching, and ensuring they adhere to safety protocols.
- Conduct thorough quality inspections to identify and address any defects before products are shipped.
- Oversee maintenance and upkeep of finishing equipment to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to the finishing process.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as production planning and quality control, to ensure seamless product flow.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the finishing process.
- Supervising and managing the finishing department team, providing guidance on quality standards, production goals, and workflow efficiency.
- Able to follow up shipment plan and achieve set packing targets, quick balancing finishing lines as and when required, and analyzing individual worker performance.
- Coordinating with other departments such as cutting, sewing, and packing to ensure a seamless workflow and timely completion of finishing processes. Planning and organizing the finishing schedule to meet production targets.
- Identifying and addressing issues that may arise during the finishing process, such as machine malfunctions, quality concerns, or delays. Collaborating with relevant departments to resolve problems and prevent recurrence.
- Communicating with other managers and departments to relay information about finished goods, quality issues, and production schedules. Addressing queries and concerns from staff and management.
- Candidate is responsible to follow up daily finishing Capacity with the analysis from IE and meet up target as per planning.
- Candidate is responsible to complete on time shipment with the maintain of 100% Quality Garments to required buyer.
- Candidate will be responsible to execute the finishing capacity with planning align with the sewing output on monthly basis.
- Candidate will ensure analysis & Develop data base work with daily finishing output align with factory efficiency.
- Candidate will ensure proper utilization of 03 (M) Concept (Man-Machine-Material) with on time shipment delivery on highest efficiency.
- Candidate will ensure analysis Yearly/Monthly shipment plan with packing capacity and set the parameters or targets in a Yearly/Monthly basis.
- Candidate should have ability to maintain a good relation with Team & Buyer representatives for on time Inspections.
- Candidate is responsible to work with floor WIP and set the correction plan according to factory Criteria.
- Candidate will ensure any other task assigned by the management.
